Termites

No timber is entirely ‘termite proof’.

Due to their wood-eating habits, termites can do great damage to unprotected buildings and other wooden structures. Their habit of remaining concealed often results in them being undetected until the timbers are severely damaged and show changes on the surface. Termites often damage materials they cannot digest too. For example: plastics, rubber, metal or mortar. Once termites have entered a building, they don’t just limit themselves to wood; they also damage paper, cloth, carpets, and other cellulosic materials. The presences of winged termites or wings that have shed inside a home are signs of a termite infestation. Pest Control Advantage can assist you with removal of termites.
